Introduction
Rive is a single tool for design, animation, and interactive behavior. What you build in the editor is exactly what runs in your product — no separate prototyping or handoff (the process of handing designer files over to developers) needed.
How Rive Works
Rive follows six steps — from drawing shapes to shipping a finished file in your app.

Create vector graphics, responsive layouts, and reusable components. Import images, audio, and fonts from your existing tools.

Bring designs to life using timelines, keyframes, and smooth interpolation.

Build graphics that react to user input, screen size, scrolling, and app state using State Machines (logic that decides which animation plays based on conditions — like a flowchart for motion).

Connect animations, text, colors, and layouts to real-time data using Data Binding (a live link between your graphic and your app's values).

Write custom logic for procedural (generated by code or rules rather than hand-drawn frame-by-frame) animations and interactions beyond the built-in tools.

Export one file and use it across web, mobile apps, games, and video.
